Chief
Brian
Jarvis, is a 27-year veteran
Law Enforcement Officer and
Investigator, currently serving as the
Chief of Police in the Town of Chester,
New York, a suburb of
New
York City. During his law enforcement
career, Brian has been involved in
investigations in both New York State
and the State of Florida. While in
Florida, Brian served as an investigator
in the Major Crimes Unit of the Marion
County Sheriff's Department and was
later promoted to Sergeant-In-Charge of
Major Crimes. The unit was responsible
for the investigation of all violent
crime in the county, as well as
white-collar crime and fraud. After
returning to New York and earning the
position of Chief of Police, Brian
remained active in the investigative
field, and currently supervises the
investigation of all violent crime in
his jurisdiction. Brian is an adjunct
instructor at the Orange County (NY)
Police Academy and the Rockland County
(NY) Police and Public Safety Academy.
Brian
is currently serving as the Chief of
Police for the Town of Chester, NY, a
suburb of New York City. He serves as
the Chief of Police with distinction and
operates a professional, highly
respected law enforcement organization.
Brian has served as a sworn law
enforcement officer in not only New
York, but also Florida. Likewise, he has
a highly diversified police background
as he has served in numerous capacities
from patrol, to detectives working
property and violent crimes, and special
operations. He is distinguished in such
a manner that he has had the opportunity
to become involved in several very high
profile serial homicide investigations,
most significantly, Aileen Wuornos and
in limited scope, Danny Rolling and a
serial killer from the west coast of the
United States, Joseph Nissensohn. Brian
was a key player in the identification
of Aileen Wuornos as a suspect in the
investigation. Brian has a bachelorbs
degree from the University of Phoenix in
Business Information Systems. He also
just recently was very instrumental in
forming/designing an intense police
academy protocol and has seen it develop
into a police training academy that is
now fully functional in Orange County,
New York. Brian's ability to be in
tune with todaybs policing and
teaching needs distinguishes him from
all others in the law enforcement
training business. Likewise, he has now
traveled extensively throughout the
United States providing high-quality law
enforcement training to officers
employed in police agencies of all
sizes. Brianbs most recent police
training experience as a national
instructor for the largest private
provider of law enforcement and fire
service training in the United States
sets him apart from all others in the
field. He has truly become an expert in
the areas of investigating crimes
against the elderly, death and homicide
investigation and criminal case
management. He has also authored
numerous police training modules that
are taught at the college level and
police recruit level.
