Flying While Armed |
|
Commercial aviation is one of the most common
modes of transportation for law enforcement officers traveling across the
country. Law enforcement officers are often tasked with dignitary,
witness, or prisoner escort duty, in addition to surveillance operations, aboard
commercial flights. If your position includes these tasks, FAA regulations
require you to complete a two-hour course on Law Enforcement Officers Flying While

TND Executive Director Appears on TruTV Real Crime Series 'Body of Evidence' -
January 26th
David Taylor, the Executive Director of The New Detective and it's Training
Division, The National Center for Public Safety Training, will be featured on
the truTV series, Body of Evidence on January 26 at 9:00PM. truTV, formerly
known as Court TV, recently ventured to Ocala, Florida to film the segment. This
episode recounts the steps Taylor took, as lead Detective, to investigate and
solve the brutal murder of Lester Williamson. Williamson had just moved into a
new home and was ready for retirement, but his cold-blooded murder put an end to
those plans. Soon investigators zero in on his old roommate who, after a bitter
falling out, seemed to have plenty of motive to kill. But when his alibi checks
out, Special Agent Dayle Hinman reviews the case and breathes new life into the
investigation. TV-PG, V
